A very interesting report has been published by the Chartered Institute of Personel and Development (C.I.P.D.)
The publication is guidance for directors and managers of businesses of all sizes in the public, private and third sector. The guide summarises the requirements of statutory law and the common law as it applies to the duty of care employers have to their employees to prevent psychological harm caused by work-related stress.
This report highlights very well the potential financial, productivity and morale cost of not dealing effectively with stress with in your workplace.
